Inspired by adventure, the Recon MX is unlike any other eBike you’ve ridden. Built on 27.5” wheels and with a custom rack and bag set this bike is ready for the ultimate adventure. This bike has everything you need to explore farther, faster and be more prepared. On the front, it has Acerbis handguards to protect from any rocks or branches you might encounter on your adventure and on the rear you have a custom INTENSE rack that holds two rear pannier bags as well as a bungee drawcord to secure any extra items for your trip. Front and rear fenders come standard as well as a kickstand, pedals and water bottle cage. This bike is ready to go! SHIMANO STEPS LCD DISPLAY Interact with your Shimano motor and battery system through Shimano’s sleek display of the electric system. Riders can see battery life, speed and power assist mode from the home screen. ALUMINUM FRAME This new alloy frame has been designed for extra durability on long endurance rides. INTEGRATED BATTERY With a new compact design, the Shimano 504Wh battery is stored in the frames downtube and can be charged directly while still installed in the bike. DVO SUSPENSION PLATFORM 160mm DVO Diamond E3 single crown fork on the front and DVO Jade R coil on the rear to give you all the travel you need for your adventure. INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING Internal routing for shifter, dropper post, rear brake and display cables. Making the Recon MX neat, tidy and noise free. FRONT AND REAR FENDERS We use front and rear fenders on the Recon MX to protect the bike and rider from rock strikes and track debris. TRP TRAIL EVO BRAKES The TRP Trail EVO brakes provide powerful stopping power coupled with the 203mm front/rear rotors. INTENSE RECON DROPPER The INTENSE dropper post allows quick adjustment of the saddle height while on the bike. 125mm for the SM/ MD bike and 150mm on the LG/XL. SHIMANO E7000 MOTOR The powerful Shimano E7000 motor allows for 3 power-assist modes and a walk mode. WTB VOLT SADDLE The WTB Volt saddle is shaped for speed and comfort. It features medium padding thickness and subtle curves to push against while pedaling. MAXXIS REKON TIRES The Maxxis Rekon 3C EXO+ 27.5”x2.80” tires come tubeless ready.
