NOTE: 24 models with Center Cooled heads will accommodate up to the 508 cam as a bolt-in. NOTE: Screamin’ Eagle cylinder heads have high-lift valve springs and do accept the 538 grind cam. NOTE: 618 F Cam requires high lift/high load valve springs (see PART #0926-3138 on page 801) and heavy-duty pushrods (see PART #0928-0091 on page 811). Clearances must be checked when installing this cam. 465 CAM •Produces solid bottom-end performance and substantial gains above 2800 rpm compared to the stock cams •Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust •Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or a full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner •Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train; see PART #0926-2973 on page 801 •Responds well when combined with increased engine bore and/or engine compression •1850 to 5950 rpm range NOTE: Exempt per CARB Executive Order (E.O.) #D-881-1 for 17-23 M-Eight engine models only. 472 CAM •Great all-around camshaft and Feuling’s® go-to for 4 1/2” stroke 114” and 117” engines looking for a little more than the 465 grind and wanting a bolt-in •Has a great bottom end with substantial gains above 2800 rpm when compared to stock •Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train; see PART #0926-2973 or 0926-2974 on page 801 •Responds very well to increased bore and or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner NOTE: Exempt per CARB Executive Order (E.O.) #D-881-1 for 17-23 M-Eight engine models only. 487 CAM •487 Reaper® CHOP is a great all-around camshaft and Feuling’s® go-to for 4 1/2 stroke 114” and 117” looking for an aggressive bolt-in •Has that nasty CHOP idle sound while producing a wide powerband that the Feuling cams are known for •Responds very well to increased bore and/or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner •Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother running valve train; see PART #s 0926-2973 or 0926-2974 on page 801 405 CAM •Produces a wide powerband that increases torque and horsepower throughout the entire rpm range •Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust •Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner •Feuling® recommends mufflers with smaller cores for the best low-rpm power •1700 to 5700 rpm range NOTE: Exempt per CARB Executive Order (E.O.) #D-881-1 for 17-23 M-Eight engine models only. 0925-1163 NOTE: Due to the unstable nature of this 4-valve engine design with one rocker arm activating two valve springs, Feuling® highly recommends running one-piece pushrods over quick-install adjustable pushrods to maintain maximum cam/valve lift and reduce valvetrain harmonics and associated hydraulic lifter issues. NOTE: Feuling fastener kit PART #2401-0994 also highly recommended to help prevent cylinder head cracking; kit replaces the rocker shaft bolts with studs and nuts to help reduce the stress of the rocker shaft standoffs.
